Apple is our official office greeter! Her responsibilities at Valley Lyons include napping in the sun, collecting behind-the-ear scratches from our fantastic clients, and relaxing the day away. Make sure to say hello when you visit our hospital!

Valley Lyons Veterinary StaffLeslie, Office Manager

Leslie is Valley Lyon Pet Hospital's office manager and excels in problem solving and delegation. Her responsibilities include scheduling, human resources and day to day operations. She joined our team in April 2007.

"I enjoy working at Valley Lyons Pet Hospital because there is a sense of family from the moment you walk in the door," she says. "I also appreciate that we provide care for our patients as if they were our own."

In her free time, Leslie enjoys driving long distances, gardening, barbecuing and hiking. She has two dogs: Charmander (a Maltese) and Lilly (a Chihuahua).

Christina, Veterinary Assistant

Christina joined our team in May of 2016. As one of our veterinary assistants her responsibilities include administering vaccines, monitoring patients during surgery, and placing IV catheters. She has experience in emergency veterinary medicine and with exotic animals.

"I like working here because of the close relationships between the staff and clients," says Christina.

At home, Christina has three dogs: Kenzie, a Queensland Heeler; and Skyla and Kush, pit bulls. She also has two birds, a bearded dragon and a cat, Beaux. She enjoys hiking and volunteering for animal rescues in her free time.

Julio joined Valley Lyons Pet Hospital as a veterinary assistant in March of 2016. A former kennel assistant, Julio brings a positive attitude to his position. "I always give it my all when it comes to something that I love," he says.

Julio has a pug/chihuahua mix named Doug and a bird named Chikas. He enjoys running, hiking, working out and walking his dog in his spare time.

Veterinary assistant Jessica is responsible for assisting Dr. Garha with appointments and helping pet owners understand treatment plans. She joined the team at Valley Lyons Pet Hospital in March of 2016 and has over five years of experience in the animal care field.

"I enjoy working at Valley Lyons Pet Hospital because everyone has a passion for the patients," says Jessica. "It takes a special person to work with animals and at Valley Lyons I have found a very special group that I am proud to be a part of."

Jessica has a yellow labrador named Hope, a heeler/pointer mix named Jynx and a cat named Rogue. She enjoys going to rodeos, taking her dogs to the park, dirt track racing, playing on ATVs, fishing, going to the lake and chilling on the beach in her free time.

Valley Lyons Veterinary StaffGaby, Veterinary Assistant

Gaby, a veterinary assistant, has worked at Valley Lyons Pet Hospital since August of 2015. She graduated from Animal Behavior College with a veterinary assistant degree and attended Los Angeles Pierce College. Gaby enjoys working with clients. "I'm here to help not just an animal, but a member of their family," she says.

Gaby has a terrier named Cookie, an English bull terrier named Tyni, a chihuahua named Bella and a poodle named Camilla. She also has two fish. She enjoys walking her dogs, car shows, cooking, baking and spending time with family and friends.
